"Winter into Spring" 2025 Photography Contest / TBT Fundraiser

As a fun financial boost for The Buttonwood Tree in 2025, we invite all photographers amateur and professional to participate in our 2025 Photography "contest"!

Themes: Industrial complex, liminal spaces, abandoned, withering, isolation, the North End, TBT Building.

In the past, we used an esteemed panel of judges to decide Best in Show and other rankings. This was a successful endeavor, but proved to be a lot of administrative work, that put a stress and trauma on our volunteers.

This year, there will be no "winner" based on judge decision. Instead, all participants will be able to receive 1 raffle. At the close of submission, a random raffle will be drawn, and that Participant will be put on the guaranteed list for a 2025 Art Exhibit.

Raffle participation and art exhibit is voluntary.

Benefits for all submissions, with consent:

Photos to be featured on our website, categorized by theme.
Photos used on calendars, flyers, promotions, brochures, newsletters (credit will be displayed every time we feature a photo).

SUBMISSIONS:

Each photo submission will be $5, up to 5 photos per participant. Please, if you can, make your donation in one transaction (5 photos, donation of $25).

Photos may be submitted physically or digitally. Physical submissions will be displayed in our gallery and performance space.
