Paul Loether : Finger Picking Story teller

Paul Loether is a left-handed, Pete Seeger-style folk singer/songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist whose expressive vocals cover a broad range of traditional and contemporary folk music—from Stephen Foster, Elizabeth Cotton, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Phil Ochs to Tom Paxton, Bill Staines, Carrie Newcomer, Guy Clark, and John McCutcheon; see: Boob on our TV - John McCutcheon cover (youtube.com). His usually topical originals are well-crafted and often feature pointed and humorous lyrics; see:The Ballad of Doug Hughes . Over the past three decades, Paul has performed as a solo artist throughout southern New England and the Washington, DC, area. For many years, he was a lead vocalist, guitarist, and stand-up bass player for the Chesapeake Bay-area band, Silver Strings MD; see: Bing Videos.
