A Joyous Evening with John Martine
John caught the song writing bug in 1966 after his first recording session in New York City .. He has been writing ever since .
His songs were produced and published by Neil Diamond's Publisher. He was on CTI Records. One of his songs was Pick of the week in Bakersfield, California. John Hammond supported his music. He played on the same bill as Dave Van Rook. He was on Srewball Records out in Boulder, Colorado . He has played at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. In New York he has played at The Bitter End , The Other End, Kenny’s Castaways, and CBGB’s.
He claims he’s made every mistake you can , more than once .
He is a therapist and teacher and more recently has recorded a rock album of his songs ( that took 9 years to complete) He is working on his second one which is also taking six years and counting. He has played with bands but is now sol
