Linda Marks, David Coller and Terri Lachance

Linda Marks is a multi-award winning Boston singer-songwriter, a healer at heart and emotional alchemist whose music gracefully uplifts the spirit and transforms sorrow into gold. Her 15th studio album, The Silence Of The Stars is rich in lyric-driven social impact songs with singable, heartfelt melodies complimented by her clear, warm, expressive voice leaving the listener with a feeling of peace and hope. Just a couple months after its release, it has received fabulous reviews and charted on Roots Music Reports Folk and Alternative Folks Charts and the FAI Folk Chart. Marks is a Voting Member of the Recording Academy, the curator of the International Singer Songwriter Association Boston/Northeast Chapter, and has worked to build artist-alliance groups and support community projects through music her whole life. Her music has been covered in the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine and on NPR.
Her 16th studio album Queen Of The Angels will be out 1/1/26.
"Linda's songwriting skills have reached the point where she is among the best of them, famous or local.
This album forces the listener to wonder how it would have fared if it were released in the singer-songwriter era. of the 1970's"

David Coller has been writing and performing in the folk genre since his teens (which, he will tell you, means a VERY long time). He earned a BA degree in music from the University of Southern California before moving east to a career in the medical world. But he continued to play in bands, duos, and as a solo performer in southern California and after that, in Connecticut--until first being waylaid by a wooden boat… and then by COVID purgatory. He is now “playing out” again, mostly in New England, with the odd foray to the west coast. David brings with him a variety of new songs: straight-up folk, jazzy tunes that feel like standards, a bit of bluegrass, and some sea-songs, performed on the guitar, banjo, and the odd bit of button accordion [see: Sally Ann (youtube.com)].

Diane Chodkowski caught the folk-music bug in 6th grade when a teacher sang folk songs of that era. She lived in NYC in the 80’s during the Fast Folk singer-songwriter scene, where she was surrounded by amazing musicians; she had the great privilege of singing harmony and recording with some of them, including Hugh Blumenfeld (former CT State Troubadour), Richard Shindell and Peter Yarrow. In the 90’s she was a member of the female trio Madwoman in the Attic, known for their original songs and tight harmonies. When she’s not singing harmony, you can find her at open mikes doing her own thing [see: Tucson (youtube.com)].
