DECOSTER UNIVERSE, : Paul DeCoster with Special guest JEDD CHLEBOWSKI - bass
Paul DeCoster studied classical guitar at Manhattan School of Music when I discovered that songwriting was my true passion. I worked with various acts in New York until I struck out on my own as a solo artist. The music that shaped me, The Police, Pete Townshend, XTC and Joe Jackson among others, brought about three recordings with work in progress on a fourth. As a musician, I’ve always found it easier to express my feelings and my imagination through sounds and lyrics. Very often, I tell a story that might be sparked by what I experience or even what others have experienced, and when I write it, it’s my reality for that moment.
SHORT DESCRIPTION - The music explores harmonies and speaks of the human side of the world we live in. It takes cues from power pop acts starting with Pete Townshend and The Who.
