Alex Owen and Matt DeChamplain Duo

Alex Owen, is a jazz trumpet player and vocalist based in New York City. He went to undergrad at Connecticut College, He frequently perform in Connecticut. He is a regular member of the Bill's Seafood Jazz All-stars, where he plays often with Matt DeChamplain.
He leads la trio and a quartet that specializes in Great American Songbook Standards, Swing, and New Orleans Style Jazz. We play regularly at Triumph Brewing in Red Bank, NJ, at the Arlo Soho Hotel, and at the Motto by Hilton Chelsea hotel. He has also performed at Triumph's Princeton location, at the Arlo Midtown Hotel, and at Cafe Ornithology in Brooklyn. He recently had a very successful performance at the Deer Head Inn in Delaware Water Gap, PA.
