Affectionately known as SOOP, Seat of Our Pants has propelled to the forefront of the Connecticut roots music scene. While the name may suggest they don’t take themselves or their music seriously, nothing could be further from the truth. Since 2011, they have become known for their award winning, heartfelt, and superbly crafted songs that entertain you and get you thinking about the world around you. Their unforgettable renditions of music from all genres, and their live synergy, never fails to captivate an audience. Their instrumentation continues to evolve with a unique mix of instruments which now includes a 34 string Celtic harp.
This show marks their 9th year sharing their music and stories in the Buttonwood Tree’s intimate listening room. It's always a sell out, so call early to reserve your tickets.
“There is something about the interpersonal relationships of the band members that make their performances so magical. They blend musically and seem to genuinely enjoy performing together. I believe the audience leaves feeling they were a part of a very special evening!" ”
— Pamm Summers – Former Museum Curator at EC-CHAP/The Packing House
“Seat Of Our Pants is a great blend of musicianship and positive messages in their lyrics. Their harmonies are impeccable and their rapport with the audience is sincere and natural.”
— Bruce John - Former Owner of the Shaboo Inn and current Director of the Bread Box Folk Theater
Seat Of Our Pants is a “sweet soup of blended harmonies, uplifting lyrics and…fun vibe”.
