Horizon Blue is an acoustic Americana (folk, country and blue grass) musical group. Our performances are family friendly, conversational, and inviting.
The original and well-known songs we perform have a storytelling aspect and are well received by audiences of all ages. Our performances can be customized and our rates are reasonable.
Monique Hill is the voice and songwriter of Horizon Blue. Monique is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and dulcimer. Monique studied at the Hartt School of Music, Dick Grove School of Music, The Hartford Conservatory. Monique's songwriting credits include a charting international release in England, Germany, and Japan.
Pete Hill is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, mandolin, banjo, strum stick and flute. Pete studied at the Hartt School of Music and the Hartford Conservatory. Pete is also the sound and recording engineer for Horizon Blue.
Mark Annulli plays electric bass and upright bass. Mark is a veteran of the Eastern Connecticut music scene performing with many blues and rock bands.
Rich Johnson is a multi-instrumentalist who plays resophonic guitar, lap steel, guitar and percussion. Rich has performed in country, rock and jazz bands nationwide.
