An MC known for his insightful and uplifting messages, he continues to reach a universal audience with his rhymes. It is said by many that he is reminiscent of the golden age of Hip Hop and a breath of fresh air among the newer generations.

Azeem, also known as Blessings, is a charismatic MC who lives up to his name. Known for his high level of skill as a lyricist combined with a constant message of healing, empowerment and uplifting his audience, he has been making a name for himself on a national level. Some of his highlights include winning a competition to open up at an international Hip Hop festival for Big Daddy Kane, sharing a stage with Jay Electronica, performing on the first ever entirely livestream Hip Hop festival headlined by Rah Digga and Zion I and being made the face of the Northeastern region of the Hip Hop Congress, one of the largest underground Hip Hop networks in the world.

As an educator, Azeem has lead community conversations, given lectures, workshops and has helped to mentor many people. His passion for sharing knowledge has also granted him opportunities to work with students in the public school system, city libraries and community organizations, bringing the message of overcoming difficulty to other regions. As a farmer, he has also brought regenerative agricultural practices to different parts of America. A big part of his mission in agriculture is to raise a new generation of farmers who can handle any obstacle to growing, and networking farmers throughout the country.

Azeem is a farmer, mindset coach, and advocate for farmers of color nationwide. Well-versed in psychology, history, and scripture, he speaks to the day-to-day realities that people of color face in reclaiming the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to become independent. His mission is to see the rise of a new generation of empowered growers with the mindset to do for self and community. He is a co-founder of Samad Gardens Initiative, a farming education enterprise that has been making waves in northeast agriculture. He is a founding member of the I Got Next Farmers Coalition, a super group of Black farmers and agricultural educators in central CT. He’s one of the head organizers and an instructor for Hereafter Academy, a collaboration with Hereafter Farms, the largest Black land buying group in the country. He facilitates the BIPOC Farmer Affinity Circle, a project of the New CT Farmer’s Alliance. He is a facilitator of the “Access To Information and Education” Group and Main Working Group member of the CT Department of Agriculture’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Agriculture (DEI) movement. He is also a steering committee member of the CT Farm To School Collaborative.Azeem is a farmer, mindset coach, and advocate for farmers of color nationwide.
