The Lavender Social Club is a Connecticut-based band pulling from influences across the musical spectrum. Chris’ showmanship combined with the proficiency of the band allows them to perform their unique stylings of pop, jazz, singer-songwriter, funk, hip-hop, soul, and R&B. Their vision is one shared with all artists: to express. The combination of expression, interaction, and improvisation makes performances genre-bending, charismatic, and memorable.

"Our vision is one shared with all artists: to express. We connect with our audience every set, through interaction, conversation, improvisation, and entertainment. We rehearse rigorously to shed the confines of typical performance, to curate an experience that is true to ourselves and our audience. Improvisation is key, as we are able to adapt our setlist, set length, tone, and vibe depending on the performance. When we perform, we set out to honestly capture the audiences emotions and our own through music.
Chris Daly is our fearless leader. He captivates the audience effortlessly through his electric stage presence and powerful voice. Daly writes and arranges the majority of the music.
Chris Arnone is our lead guitarist, and contributes a very personable quality to the group. He is relaxed in his demeanor yet always searching within for the sounds of his inner landscape, which especially shines through in his improvised solos. Chris studied with guitarist Chris Morrison at Western CT State University.
Malin Carta is our driven saxophonist, and recently graduated from Western CT State University with her BM in Jazz Performance. During her time at WCSU, she studied under the direction of saxophonist Jimmy Greene.
TJ Croke, our bassist, graduated from WCSU in 2020 with a BM in Audio Production. His audio knowledge and expertise combined with his creative artistic visions and grounding bass lines contribute greatly to the band.
Conor Brennan is our drummer, and his focused attitude and sensible approach to his instrument gives the rest of the band a solid foundation to explore and take risks. He currently studies Jazz Drum Performance at WCSU with drummer Jeff Siegel."
