Mo Andres

mo andres is a musician & performing artist on a lifelong journey of healing. As a musician, they write and sing alternative folk songs, largely inspired by their roots in the foothills of the blue ridge mountains, and, of course, their journey in love and grief. Mo’s current project Highway Hypnosis tells the beginning of a story - a snapshot of interstate 81, which runs from their hometown of Toccoa, Georgia, to their current base of Middletown, Connecticut: the journey home, whatever that may be. Their new song Blessings is both an ending and a new beginning - a plea for forgiveness, a love letter to letting go.

Beyond music, you might find them creating generative theater with local collaborators, or dancing in a random field somewhere.

Much like the highway, mo is always under construction.
